CLINTON CO. MAN PLEADS GUILTY AFTER SHOOTING GUN IN HOME

The attorney general’s office says a Clinton County, Kentucky man has pleaded guilty to wanton endangerment, criminal mischief and terroristic threats.

Officials say 53-year-old Daniel R. Guffey, of Albany, Kentucky is facing 5 years in prison and must pay $1,000 in restitution. He is scheduled to be sentenced July 12.

According to court records, on or about November 7, 2017, Guffey kicked in the door to the home of his estranged wife and discharged a firearm damaging her stove, while she and her minor son were present. Guffey also threatened to shoot his estranged wife.
