Two people died in a vehicle accident in Pulaski County, Kentucky yesterday following a police pursuit. The crash happened at the intersection of Highway 27 South and Adams Street. A Science Hill police officer saw someone in a Pontiac G6 driving erratically and tried to pull them over, but police say the person wouldn’t stop. The driver of the Pontiac, identified as 33-year-old Steven Vanhook, was traveling at a high rate of speed when police say he hit a pickup truck. That truck then hit a Department of Homeland Security officer’s vehicle. The officer was not involved in the chase. Vanhook and the driver of the truck, 18-year-old Dylan Snow, died as a result of the crash. The Department of Homeland Security officer suffered minor injuries.
