Investigators say his truck was discovered at a Dixon truck stop with all his personal items still inside on July 5th. The police department says an investigation revealed Jones took a ride from an Illinois State Police Trooper. Jones reportedly told the trooper he was headed to New York.

Jones was not reported missing until four days after his truck was found in Illinois on July 9th, according to Dixon Police.

Jones is described as a 24-year-old Caucasian male with brown hair, brown eyes, standing 5’ 5” tall, 141 pounds with a medium build.

Anyone with information about Jones is asked to call the Wayne County Sheriff’s Department at (606) 348-5416.
