THREE ARRESTED ON DRUG CHARGES AFTER SEARCH WARRANTS SERVED

Search warrants served in Clinton County, Kentucky Friday resulted in three arrests.

The first was served at a home on Cedar Hill Road about six miles west of Albany.

Troopers searched the residence and found several small bags of meth, digital scales, syringes, smoke pipes and several prescription pills. Bobby Kennedy, age 27, and Amanda Newberry, age 30, both of Albany, were arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a meth precursor, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance, endangerment to a child and trafficking in a controlled substance.

The second search warrant was served at a home on Martha Stockton Road west of Albany.

Officers supposedly located several smoke pipes with suspected marijuana and methamphetamine residue in them. LaDonna Kempton, age 49 of Albany, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

All three were taken to the Clinton County jail.
