WOMAN DIES IN VEHICLE CRASH, UNRESTRAINED TODDLER AIRLIFTED

Kentucky State Police say a Russell County woman died following a two-vehicle collision near Russell Springs yesterday.

Troopers say 88-year-old Odellia Jones of Russell Springs was traveling on Kentucky 910 when her vehicle crossed the center line and collided with another vehicle.

Jones was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the other vehicle and a 2-year-old passenger were airlifted to the University of Kentucky Hospital. The toddler was not restrained at the time of the collision.

The crash remains under investigation.
